Venessa Lewis


LEAD photographer

Venessa Lewis has a degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Advertising.  She is an award- winning graphic designer with more than 20 years experience, and an accredited public relations professional. Lewis taught Visual Communications for 7 years as an adjunct instructor in the Manship School of Mass Communication at LSU. She has studied photography under Aaron Hogan of Eye Wander Studios.


In 2015, Venessa acquired a startup princess entertainment business and rebranded it to the Petite Princess Company. It is now the largest children's entertainment company in Louisiana.


Petite Photography is a branch of the Petite Princess Company and an opportunity for Venessa to offer creative photography services for her clients. She specializes in children, couples, seniors, pet and family photography. Her personal favorite are "fairytale" themed children's photography.

Layden Lewis

Layden Lewis is a Junior at Denham Springs High School and has been accompanying his mother Venessa on photoshoots since he was a young boy.  With a natural eye for photography, he began shooting alongside her and at the age of 10 became an award winning photographer taking top prizes in the Advocate's annual Baton Rouge Zoo photo contest and Bluebonnet Swamp's photo contest. He has had his photography featured in the local magazine, "Modern Grace" and the Advocate newspaper. 


He enjoys shooting landscapes, automobiles and fashion photography.  Layden has received private photography instruction from Aaron Hogan of Eye Wander Studios.
